A look at ORIANA

Last month during ORIANA’s visit to Sydney Australia ORIANA Sydney Media was invited on board ORIANA for a look round the freshly refitted ship that 15 years after her debut in the port was looking as good as ever.
The Tour was conducted by P&O’s Managing Director Carol Marlow and took in both ORIANA’s original splendid public areas and the refitted ones including a look into one of the new aft Balcony cabins D227 revealing its décor to be in keeping with the refined and elegant style of the existing cabins.

Other refitted areas which were shown was The Pacific Lounge on the aft promenade deck, the Spa and Fitness area located on the forward end of the lido deck .

For The Pacific Lounge this is the third colour scheme the room has received since ORIANA’s entry into service shown below is the room in it's current form. For the spa itself the images taken show some of the new extended area of Gymnasium which overlooks the forward end of the ship formerly occupied by the spa along with the new relaxation area fitted with ceramic heated beds.
Another area visited which featured a slight refit was the Conservatory Buffet which had added the indoor section of the new Sorrento restaurant as shown below.

Not to be neglected ORIANA’s well established and unaltered venues showed themselves to be as elegant as ever including Anderson’s bar which along with its namesake on board AURORA must be the nearest to a traditional ocean liner’s Smoking Room/lounge space afloat today.

Below are some other photos taken showing ORIANA’s interior spaces.
