In the two latest annual Cruise reports released annually detailing the activities by the Carnival UK brands the P&O section of each both revealed that despite her tonnage being eclipsed several times in the last 10 years ORIANA continues to be amongst the most popular ships of the P&O fleet.
The reports highlight that in 2009 ORIANA was jointly with fleet mate VENTURA the most popular ship in the fleet achieving the highest passenger satisfaction rate.
In 2010 it was again ORIANA and VENTURA which achieved the highest scores of the year, this time with ORIANA being most popular with repeat P&O passengers and VENTURA attracting new cruise passengers and families.
It just goes to show that despite the increase in size and style of ship the tradition ,elegance and high standards of ORIANA can hold its own against the modern floating apartment blocks.

"As with her cherished namesake and her sister the sacred CANBERRA, old acquaintance will be more than enough to ensure that whenever the great ships of Britain are brought to mind, another ORIANA shall now never be forgot."
