To keep passengers up to date with ORIANA's progress from Keel laying until completion P&O issued 9 magazines called Countdown to ORIANA from Spring 1993 until Spring 1995.
Each of the issues which consisted 11 pages would relay various points about the ships design, construction, and people involved.
From the Second edition onwards P&O's past passenger comments and questions were printed and answered in the magazines.
Below are several pages and the cover from the first issue.
The first cover included an early rendering of ORIANA with enclosed bridge wings.
"As with her cherished namesake and her sister the sacred CANBERRA, old acquaintance will be more than enough to ensure that whenever the great ships of Britain are brought to mind, another ORIANA shall now never be forgot."
