Most attractive looking ship - ORIANA

In 2007 the website ssMartime conducted a survey of visitors opinions relating to all things ship cruise ship related with polls on most aspects including, most attractive/unattractive ship, most pleasing fleet of ships, best cruise line among others.
Although there was many options that one could have chosen including QE2,QM2 it was ORIANA that was voted as readers favourite in the category of "most attractive looking ship"
About the results site author Reuben Goossens said :
"MV ORIANA is a remarkable ship as she was designed by P&O (pre Carnival days) for round the world cruising. Like QE2 she is more of a Liner than just a cruise ship. Incorporated in her overall design are many of the fine features as found in her forerunner the magnificent SS CANBERRA, even her funnel was given that famed twin funnel look. She has long sleek lines that culminate in 6 magnificently stacked curved after decks taper down towards to the stern"
Obviously with it would seem with her classic liner style ORIANA is able to hark back to her great predecessor and P&O's last Ocean Liner CANBERRA while also having a hint of modern fineness to her.
